Organised by the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, five Sydney plastic surgeons were welcomed onto the Sydney Dragons Abreast dragon boat. Sydney Dragons Abreast is a dragon boat-racing club made up of breast cancer survivors. Together we rowed from Blackwattle Bay to Johnstons Bay, before attending a delicious lunch at Sugaroom Restaurant.
There was an intense feeling of positivity in the room as the Sydney Dragons Abreast shared their stories of survival and camaraderie. It was a wonderful event marking a very worthwhile cause.

The Australia Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is the peak body for Specialist Plastic Surgeons. ASPS prides itself on promoting public education about reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery procedures. As a proud member of ASPS, I encourage you to read more about special events like BRA Day. The ASPS website is an excellent resource for patients considering reconstructive or cosmetic surgery.
